Frequently Asked Questions

Starting therapy often comes with a few practice questions — here are some of the most common ones I’m asked. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to help.

Do you accept Insurance?

I accept Aetna in New York. For all other insurance plans and for anyone located

outside of New York, I’m considered an out-of-network provider and can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

To check your out-of-network benefits, call your insurance company and ask:

1) Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits for CPT code 90834?

2) What is my deductible and has any of it been met?

3) What percentage of each session is reimbursed?

4) How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 50 or 60 minutes, depending on your needs and preferences.

Are your services in person or online

All services are currently provided via secure telehealth, making it easier to fit

therapy into your life wherever you are.

Where are you licensed to provide therapy?

I am licensed in New York, New Jersey, and all PsyPact states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia,

Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington).
