Hi I'm Robyn
I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative, practical, and rooted in trust. I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, OCD, phobias, and the unique emotional challenges that come with parenthood. I work with teens and adults who are tired of feeling like they are going crazy, overthinking, and feeling burnt out. In our work together my goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what's hard without feeling like you have to filter or hold back. My approach combines evidenced-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with compassion and humor. I believe that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have — and therapy gives you new tools so you don't stay stuck. I will meet you exactly where you are and provide a space to understand your patterns, thoughts and feelings, and the things you've been avoiding; and we also won't shy away from the hard stuff that leads to real, lasting change. You can do hard things. Together, we will help you overcome your anxiety, find calm and connection, and feel exactly how you want to feel.
